Chalong Temple Phuket
Wat Chalong is the most respected temple in Phuket. Bring back to its history during the Ang Yee period. On 25 February 1876, The rebels took over the city and set up damage across the town. Stories were passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth.

The wax figure of Monks named Cham and Chuang. These two monks gain high respect in 1876 during the Chinese rebellion.
The stupa was considered one of the most colorful and beautiful stupas on Phuket island. Chalong temple’s stupas were built in 2001, it is 60 meters tall on three floors. The first floor has Buddha statues in various postures. On the second floor, the white marble Buddha statue is in meditation posture. The top floor where the Buddha’s relic is enshrined in a clear crystal ball.
